Frequently asked questions

You’ve got questions. We’ve got answers.

Which lesson option is right for me?

  • POP ROCKS! Program

This program is excellent for younger and beginner students. POP ROCKS! helps students learn the basics of music in a fun environment, develop successful practice habits, and progress fast through their books and repertoire.

  • 1-on-1 Lessons:
This is perfect for more serious and dedicated students who want continuous coaching and who have a lot of questions and curiosities about music. 1-on-1 lessons are all virtual and so are also great for students in different cities and countries.

  • "A La Carte" Lessons:
If you prefer just a few lessons or the occasional coaching session, this option is for you. It's also perfect for more busy students who can only fit in a lesson every so often. You can schedule virtual sessions yourself for more flexibility, but spots are limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Is POP ROCKS! right for me? (beginners - yes it is!)

POP ROCKS! is a great program for younger students newer to music, and those who want to progress faster through the beginning stages.

Here is what makes POP ROCKS! great:

  • Fast student progress - students on average move 3X faster through books and songs when they join POP ROCKS!

  • Learn to sight-read fast and effectively - a crucial skill for anyone wanting to be able to pick up any song and read it effortlessly

  • Gain confidence in your practice habits at home - parents, this makes your life a whole lot easier!

  • Learn the basics of Pop and Rock music and how to play with other musicians - students usually will never experience this before taking lessons for a few years.

What are the benefits of online lessons?

  • Convenience: Enjoy the learning in the comfort of your home. No more rushing to the next event or worrying about forgotten lesson materials.

  • Engaging Learning Experience: Immerse yourself in a dynamic learning environment with multiple camera angles, professional audio quality, visual learning tools, games, and more!

  • Tailored Instruction: Guitar lessons aren't one-size-fits-all. Being online allows me to understand your home practice setup better, so I can customize your lessons to suit your needs precisely.

  • Optimized Learning Time: Skip the commute and make the most of your lesson time. Use the extra time to warm up before our session and continue practicing long after it's over.

  • Lesson Playback: Didn't grasp something during our lesson? No problem! I can start recording our session with just one click, so you can review the material later at your own pace.
